Vams is a 2-ply yarn made of 100% Norwegian wool. This is our most voluminous woolen yarn. Due to the thickness of the yarn, Vams provides easily knitted garments and is therefore a good start for beginners.

Vams is well suited for felting, for thicker garments, structured knitwear and stranded colourwork. The yarn is lightly spun and therefore contains a lot of air, which makes even large garments feel light and airy. Since the yarn is so lightly spun, we use wool from adult sheep for more durability and to avoid pilling.
