Gepard Puno

Puno is a so called ’blown yarn’ -  the alpaca/merino fibres are blown into a fine mesh tube holding the completely aerated alpaca/merino fibres in place. Since the fibres are not twisted it makes an airy, light and floofy yarn. Blown yarns have 30% or more extra yardage than their plied equivalent, so you get more fabric for your money and the garments are lighter.

Puno is suitable for sweaters, and accessories and anything that you need for added warmth through the winter.

As with all Gepard yarns, all materials used are ecotex 100 certified and the animal fibre is guaranteed to be mulesing free.

Needles: 5.5-8.0 mm
Meterage: 110m/50g.
Gauge: 11-14 sts/ 10 cm
